choice #1
a hart shape pendant she saw at costco it has 3 rb's that forms into a hart shape.i would need to go to costco and take a picture and have one of teh ps e-vendors copy it.

choice #2
a 5 stone rb ring 1.25 tw.

choice #3
a 5 stone princess ring 1.25 tw

i always bought her rb's because that's my favorite, so everything she got is made with rb's.

tennis bracelet
stud earrings
3 stone ring
10 stone ring
(2) solitaire rings
"NO" pendant yet

so what do you guys think?

I may have the heart shaped pendant from Costco that you list as option #1. I will try to take pics of it and post them tomorrow. Mine is not 3 rb - it is 2 half moons against a diagonal set princess...is that what you mean?? I love mine!!

My vote is for a pendant only because she doesn't have one yet...but anything made with diamonds is a surefire winner.

i''m sure the one we saw is made with 3 rb''s.

Hi Dancing Fire,

I would vote for the pendant too. Every woman should have the classic staple of a heart shaped pendant. Your wife will love it!

Have a nice day,

Does she have a diamond band right now? If so, then I''d choose the pendant. If not, then she may be really wanting a diamond band to wear with her e-ring. If she would wear it with her RB e-ring then I''d choose round stones.

I figured I'd post this anyway...even though it was taken in kitchen lighting and so everything looks yellow in that light, and even though the one you saw is with 3 rb. I still vote for pendant!!! Is there a pic of something similar you can show us??

FG,

thanks for posting the picture ,that''s a beautiful pendant. i think the one my wife saw at costco that she likes, it''s set with 3 RBs. the hart shape looks just like yours. i have to go there with a digital camera and take a picture of it.

FireGoddess,

I love your pendant. It''s really cute.

CF - can you please post a photo of your necklace?

What is the carat weight of these pendants? I want one!

My heart pendant is 0.5 ctw, I color or better, VS2 clarity or better, and it was about $600.

I checked Costco's website to see if I could find the one DF is talking about, but it's not listed.

there''s 4 costco within 20 miles from us and they all have something different.

FireGoddess

you''re right, just came back from costco and look at the pendant it''s identical to yours, i''m thinking about having a e-vendor to make one about 1-1.25 ctw.any idea which vendor to call ?

DF,

I had a feeling it might be the same as mine...I didn''t want to say so in case there really was one w/ 3 rb, but I didn''t see how 3 rb making a heart shape would look right unless they did some phenagling with the metal to fill in the spaces where the rb stones meet each other.

I think one w/ 1 to 1.25 ctw would be amazing...mine sparkles alot, but one twice as big would be phenomenal! I haven''t worked with any online vendors (yet!) so I don''t want to recommend anyone, and I don''t know turnaround times for pendants...maybe someone who''s had one done can chime in?!!

Your wife''s a lucky woman...!

df, why don''t you just get the one from costco?

The one from Costco gets my vote, it''s awesome!!

I like the pendant idea also. it''ll work well in her collection and I agree it''s a staple. While you''re there, pick up one and send it to me.

she said SURPRISE me.
well, it is nice to get a little surprise now and then!

i still like the pendant idea....mostly because she doesn''t have one yet (and it''s real purdy

)
BUT you know her better.......if you think she would like another ring, i guess the 5 stone is in order!

diamond decisions..........life is good

I would go for the heart shape pendant since she saw it and you know she already likes it...you can't go wrong there!

By the way...what a good hubby you are!

I usually buy my jewlery and then tell my husband, "look what you got me!" He usually just smiles and shakes his head.

I always find direct contact (ie. telephone ringing) works much better. It's too easy to see an email and say "I'll get back to that later, right after I do x, y, and z." Not everybody has that problem, but a lot do...maybe there are a lot of jobs ongoing right now. Can't hurt to actually speak with someone.

Those calibrated princess cuts are branded "composite" diamond - I think it''s called ''Lady Heart". If none of the shops around here deal with those, that might explain the silance.

Ana
at least they should let me know one way or another.what do you mean by branded "composite" diamond ?
