... and the weather outlook for Texas and southern Oklahoma is pretty nasty. I'm sure she (and all of us who are travelling to her) would love any and all sparkly dust you could spare.
lots of perfect weather **DUST** for you, oupeargirl!
may your day (regardless of weather) find you surrounded by love, laughter, and warmth of all of your family & friends and, most of all, mr. oupeargirl!!
Best wishes on your wedding day OUPeargirl! I hope the weather behaves and you have a memorable day!
We got married in the midst of torrential downpours, June 1985 in Toronto. It was a freak storm kind of day and the gutters went from empty to full in a very rapid time frame. My bridesmaids had taffeta dresses on and we bundled them up into garbage bags to keep dry (the girls AND the dresses!!) - it was insane! I was waiting for Noah to start building a boat and animals to pass us two by two.... Because of that, we pay attention to the rain on our anniversary and over the past 26 we've had, its rained all but 3 of them!
Old wives tale says that the rain brings tears of joy not sorrow - I wish you plenty of JOY on your day and throughout your life time!!! (but skip the rain!)
Hi! It was the most fun day of my life, I wish I could do it again. We're still waiting for pro pics, but I'll share some of the non-pro pics that have been put up on FB
The ceremony was very emotional. I cried through my vows, which made DH cry, and when I used my hanky on myself he asked, "Can you get me too?" and you could hear the whole crowd "Aww." Uppy sang two solos and did a FABULOUS job. I couldn't look at her because we were both getting weepy.
I had some wardrobe malfunctions at the reception (I popped both straps of my dress while dancing and had to be sewn in) but I had the time of my life! It went by SO fast!! We left in a 1941 Chevrolet Packard that played jazz standards the whole ride to the hotel.
