I'm sure that he will be sympathetic to the great bodily harm that may befall you if you wear the cheap stuff and will happily agree that platinum and diamonds are necessary to keep your life (which is priceless, right?) long, safe, and healthy.Apparently I’m allergic to cheap jewellery, my body tells me I can only have Platinium and real diamonds.
Off to break the “bad news” to DH.
I have a nickel sensitivity. I’m assuming my “925” silver ring (yeah, yeah I know cheap from China) isn’t 925 and is cheap nickel silver.Hi Bron, you could try a metals sensitivity test to narrow down what you are sensitive to. Also, stick to new platinum and figure out if you can tolerate Iridium or Ruthenium or other Plat alloys. I am sensitive to Ruthenium but not Iridium. YMMV
