How embarrassing

Click the link and please add the photo if you can. I obviously can''t.

Here was the story:

"Once again, Victoria Beckham took a break from her towering heels to play around in the Malibu sand with her kids on Sunday. And from what we can see, she should take breaks more often!

Her rep recently denied that Miz Beckham suffers from serious bunions, but we think these pictures speak for themselves.

Bunions are not posh, Vic and neither is the surgery you''re going to have to get!"

Well if she didn''t shove her feet into the smallest of pointy shoes....

Aww, I feel really bad for her! I know what that''s like. Between ballet and gymnastics and a genetic predisposition for bunions, my feet were screwed well before I wore high heels. Then I ended up being super-short too, so I have worn heels almost every day for ten years plus. At 26, my feet are really, really starting to hurt. I try to limit my heel time to only in court now since it would look ridiculous if the lawyer couldn''t see over the podium, but even that hurts.

So anyway, I feel for you, Vic. Let''s have bunion surgery and wear orthopaedic shoes together. You in?

You''re a doll Swedish Bean. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Ok here is the other one... I got distracted by the UPS guy (save the dates are here!)

I don''t see why this is entertaining.

Bunions are terribly painful. I know from personal experience, as I''ve suffered from them since I was a teenager, as does my mother (who never wears heels and never has) just as her mother did.

Hmm I thought they were created from heels!

So they can just form or how are they formed?

I never knew!

My feet look exactly like that. I have had bunions for as long as I can remember. Even when I was little. My best friend had them too just as bad. She started having problems with hers and had them removed. She said that it was so painful and she couldn''t walk and they took forever to heal. I thankfully, have only minor pain with mine. Certain shoes hurt worse than others and for some reason my right foot hurts more. It really sucks when you find a shoe that you love and it hurts so bad to wear them. When I look at my feet though it looks like I was wearing pointy toed heels since birth, but that is not the case.

I also have the 2nd toe longer than the first toe. My husband says that my feet are just another sign that I am alien, but he still kisses them.

Your natural gait can create or exacerbate bunions. A lot of dancers have them, and a lot of times they run in families. (But who knows if gait has something to do with that, or genetics.)

I''m sure there are many other things that contribute to them, but I''m not in that field so all I know is from my own experience.

radiantquest--I have the same toes as you, second one longer than the "big" toe. We call them "4-5-3-2-1" toes in my family!

Ooo, that looks rough! I feel bad for her. My mom had horrible bunions and had surgery on both of her feet (at the same time) a few years ago. Not fun! And I don't know that she ever wore heels either - it was definitely genetic. Thank goodness I didn't inherit them.
