It''s possible, espcially if the shank tapers to very thin near the diamonds. In general, diamonds look big with a setting with thin bands and slightly higher.

I don''t know about bigger but I love that setting. Its gorgous! If I had a solitaire, this is the one I would choose.

Yes. I think that if the shank tapers in as it nears the diamond it makes the diamond POP.

I''ve viewed alot of diamonds and settings in my ongoing search and tried many of them on. Ones where the shank gets wider near the diamond do not appeal to me at all. The metal takes away from the diamond.

This setting would be an excellent choice. Please post photos when you''re done.

Now if this setting had split prongs it would be just perfect for me...
