It sure sounds like he is guilty but til he has his trial or confesses he's just charged with the crime. Tragic. He was seemingly such a fantastic story of overcoming obstacles.

This is so sad on every level. That poor woman.

The (totally random) thing that popped into my head was to wonder if when he bulked up so he could run faster sprint distances, if steroids were involved. He demonstrated at the Olympics that he has a temper, and with athletes at this level I always wonder about steroids. I wonder if 'roid rage would cut it as a defense tactic?
