I''m helping a friend with his e-ring search.
He''s starting with the setting and wants to spend as close to $1000 as possible.
It should fit a stone that''s about 1 - 1.5 carats, shape doesn''t matter at this point.
They are looking for something pretty ornate and antique-looking Some pave and/or colored gem-stones in the setting would be nice.
Any suggestions?

Knox has quite a few antique styles around $1000like this one for $1090 in white gold.

Engagement Rings Direct has some antique styles around that price though typically less ornate.
Whiteflash has some rings around that too, but I would consider them more of a "classic" style than antique.

It would be really hard to give you ideas, since some settings won't accommodate certain shapes. Also, a 1.5 round will be a different diameter than a 1.5 fancy.

I would suggest they find the stone they want first, then work on the setting. It will be MUCH easier!
