Ordered a diamond for a pendant!

Just wanted to share my excitement, placed an order last night for a loose diamond to go in a pendant I'm having made to match my engagement ring.

The diamond is a K SI1 (e ring is K VVS1), 0.71ct but spready (9.32x4.56). Haven't viewed in person but looks to have minimal bow tie and the proportions match my e ring really well.

Going to have it set in a platinum halo identical to my e-ring and will wear it on an 18ct YG chain.

So excited!

So my diamond arrived today! I love it!

Hard to believe such a tiny thing can cost so much though lol.

Also, I already nearly lost it once

Also also, it looks SO tiny next to my engagement ring centre stone lol. Had no idea how much difference a couple millimetres makes in real life.

Though I guess it will look different once set
