Ordered a 1.51 Radiant havent shipped but have 2nd thoughts

I was initially looking for a cushion but the future wife started liking radiants more than ever. (A lot of her friends have cushions)

Ive been looking around and this appeared to be a good price for this type of stone.

As a radiant owner, I have to say there is no way to know if it's a good buy until you see it. Since Blue Nile doesn't offer photos or ASET images (most helpful for determining if fancy cuts like radiants have good light return--mostly red and green) you'll have to wait until you get it and inspect. Ideally, take to an independent appraiser who has an ASET. I think BN has a fairly good return policy so if it ends up a dud, you can always go with a vendor that has images and will do ASETs, like James Allen or Good Old Gold.

or just buy an aset, there should be a link in the tools section somewhere. That can help in your quest

An ASET is a tool to help you evaluate light performance in a stone (fancy in particular, and radiant, cushion being fancies). It helps you visually see how much or little light is actually returned to your eyes! Very useful tool.
