I have some options of diamonds with little information as to the quality of the cut, I only have mm''s. Is that enough to get an idea?

7.40×6.76×4.52 mm for a 1.71 Carat VS1 H Round.

Another option is 1.62 7.45x7.06x4.4 VsI F fancy brilliant cut

one more 2.31 SI 1 H 8.37x5.29 only numbers I have again fancy brilliant cut?

No, it''s not enough information. What do you mean by "fancy brilliant cut"? I don''t think I have heard that before.

Ditto, fancy brilliant cut could mean many things....Was it a round diamond you wanted, or a square shape etc?

All three stones are round, I just don''t know exactly how they are cut.

Ok, that''s just a title someone (not a lab) gave them. Means nothing. Are these local or online?

sorry, I am new to deciding and buying diamonds, though I have a few. I want round

These are online, I have looked alot and couldn''t bring myself to buying yet. I don''t know how much of a risk I am taking, though spending considerably less than the local store. One vendor in particular has an extremely good track record.

I don''t think they are round looking at the diameters....Do you have links for the diamonds and which vendor has them?

Which vendors are we talking about here? There are many reputable online vendors...and more that are not reputable unfortunately...

I did not think the diameters made any sense! A couple others I didn''t mention were even worse. I will pass again on these and write in when I have searched again. Thanks everyone!

Some vendors to start with might be Whiteflash, Good Old Gold, and Winfield''s Jewelers (Wink''s store).

Agreed with lorelei, these are way too off for it to be round.

If you need any help looking for a diamond, give us an idea of budget and your carat, colour and clarity preferences and intended use for the stone, and we can help you search if you would like.
