Options for WB for Halo 3 sided pave e-ring

Does anyone have one or know someone that does or just has ideas for a wedding band to go with this kind of an e-ring? I ultimately would like a 3 sided pave the same width, and my boyfriend thinks I''m crazy but I also want a plain platinum for the top (also the same thickness as the e-ring). He doesn''t believe me that people wear two wedding bands and I know that I definitely want that! I don''t care if they are totally flush. I would like to wear the e-ring with the wedding bands because I have aspiring hopes of a sapphire RHR.

I know I have seen people comment on the rubbing of the bands, what does this cause in the short term and in the long term?

Diamonds against diamonds will cause damage. Only a diamond can hurt another diamond and if you wear a pave band next to an ering that is also pave, there will be damage to the stones. You could try a spacer in between the two thus preventing them from rubbing against eachother???

Is a spacer just a really think piece of metal or do you actually see it? I guess I could stack it so that the e-ring is on top, then the platinum band, then the eternity or 3/4 eternity band. What kind of damage does it cause?
