Looking for a 1.25-1.3ct round stone for a ring and have been presented with the two options below by a local jeweller.
Stone 1:
GIA Ex-Ex-Ex
1.29ct
F VVS1
Table: 57%
Depth: 62.2%
Crown A: 35.5
Pav A: 40.8
No Flourescence
Stone 2:
GIA Ex-Ex-Ex
1.29ct
F VVS1
Table: 56%
Depth: 61.9%
Crown A: 34.5
Pav A: 41
No Flourescence
Both cost approx. same around $15K. Jeweller indicates that these are excellent H&A stones. Need second opinion. HCA scores are 2.7 and 1.8 respectively. AGA cut class 1B and 1A respectively.
Images attached: 4 pics of each stone.
To my untrained eye, the images don't indicate perfect optical symmetry but how far are they off? Are they worth the price or can I find better options elsewhere (without compromising on Color and Clarity)? Would greatly appreciate any insights/opinions!
