Ok, here''s the proposal idea...
She knows we''re going away for the night, presumably to a typical bed and breakfast just to get away from the city for a night. I have reserved a room at a fabulous resort in the country side - super swanky. I''ll have the hotel spruce the room up nice for arrival (flower petals, champagne, etc...). Before hand, I''ll send the hotel the nicely wrapped ring box ahead of time to put on the pillow of the bed.
She''ll be impressed with the resort when we drive up and the room when we enter. When she gets to the bed and opens the box with her name on it, it will be empty. She''ll look over at me who will be getting on one knee, holding the ring - which stayed with me the whole time.
