opinions please on baguettes with RB

I am getting a setting from Leon similar to this one:

Leon sent me this picture to pick the baguettes and I''d like to get some honest opinions from the folks here. What do you guys think of this set? Here''s the pic:

Beautifully balanced! I may be biased, but that''s one of my favorite combinations - you get finger coverage and bling, but without the worry of pave.

The center stone is 1.32 G/VS2.

It might be hard to tell with the stones just lying there instead of actually being in the setting, but to me the baguettes look large in proportion to your center RB as compared to the first photo of the finished LM ring. I would ask for daintier baguettes so they look more like accents and the RB can really "pop" on center stage!

I would personally go with slightly smaller baguettes. As Rx said though, it could be hard to tell with them just lying there.

I think they look great too. once they are set they will be slightly tilted and won''t appear so long.

I think it looks great. I think the tilt and height difference will ensure that the baguettes don''t look too big in comparison to the center stone.

I like the proportions in this one better!

For a larger stone, the top ones. For your size stone, I think perhaps the narrower set (2nd set).

Actually I would just tell Leon to pick which HE thought looked best. But that''s just me.

I spoke with Leon just now and he advised the more tapered ones (the second set he sent).

So far he''s been very nice and pleasant to work with. With all the threads about his customer service I''ve been nervous to go with him, but (crosses fingers) so far so good.

i like the bags that taper more. i think they will look better in the ring. both are beautiful, but the chubbier ones look bulky instead of elegant IMO
