Hoping I loaded this correctly...no time to fiddle with pics to load otherwise. Looking for thoughts on this one...I have my own thoughts, have been advised nicely/wisely by Bob at WF, but now its on to you guys...

ASET?
table size and CH?
IS is very dark in the center and the windmills don't extend all the way down.

I''d ask WF for an ASET picture. Not sure what''s going on under the table.

Last one...thoughts? be nice please... :))
Size is larger than I was looking, color is less than I was looking...

Qte from WF:

"More about the diamond. The inclusion is not ‘in our face’. You can see it at 6” but you cannot see it at 20”. You can only find it if you rock the stone back and forth. It is a tiny crystal, not a ‘gash’. It is not black but white. In my opinion I do not think the inclusion is enough to discard it.

The cut is really really nice. It has very nice light return. It is bright and well balanced. It is a J but ‘faces up’ white"

Am aware of the "faults" but is that a deal breaker? Eye clean in the eye of the beholder....

Karl, windmills? thats a new word for me...and I have been so STUDIOUS trying to learn!!

i think it looks awesome. kind of asscher-y looking. i like the corners. what kind of mounting?

many EC''s have this--its neither good nor bad. its much more "obvious" in the asset than in person. personally it provides depth without making the stone look busy

I have a platinum band bgray...solitaire setting...previous stone had a "peg head". I am a simple girl...my wedding band is simple as well.

may i suggest split prongs on your simple band? the stone has really lovely corners and the double claws set it off nicely; keep it clean and dont look so heavy on the corners

I will have to check out some pics to see what you mean bgray...thanks for the suggestion.

No one has mentioned that it is not totally eye clean?

the tolerance for clarity is definitely personal...........i am not bothered by it

I know you wanted simple, but just thought I show you this idea with tapered baguettes, still classic but this also has double prongs. From Winkjones.com

Ditto, it is dark in the middle and the crown arrow faceting is off with the windmills. Windmills are named as such because they literally look like the blades on a windmill!

Not alot of people will be looking at your ring from 6in away, so in normal viewing conditions, it is eye-clean.

Ask at what distance obstruction becomes an issue.
IS is showing high obstruction.
Would be fine in a pendant based on the regular picture but in a ring it might or might not be an issue.
