Hi, I would appreciate any opinions on this diamond which I am considering. It is GIA graded.
It looks very good, but I want to be sure, I am not overlooking anything.
The depth seems smaller than I visualized when I look from the side, as I compared to at 1.9 carat that I also saw, but when I look at
the 1.6 carat diamond from the top, I am very happy with the size. I am planning to get a V prong setting and don't want to
see lots of space underneath the diamond, so that is why depth is important to me.

Size: 1.60 carat
Measurements: 7.48 X 7.51 X 4.63mm.
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Cut: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
No Fluorescence
Table: 57%

Crown angle: 35.5%
Pavilion angle: 40.6%
Crown ht: 15.5%

HCA: 1.4
Price: $15,250.00

Thanks!

Whether you see a lot of space under the diamond has to do with the length of the prongs. You can get V-heads that are relatively low and others that are very high. Ordering the right head for your ring is the key. The depth of the diamond is not the issue.

The price looks good and the numbers do, too. We always recommend getting an idealscope image if the vendor offers that, but if not and you have seen the stone and like it, then you're all set!

Just so you understand what I was saying, here are two rings with different size heads. You absolutely need to show the jeweler a picture of how high or low you want your stone to be set.
