Opinions on two JA emerald cuts, please

I'm still considering the GOG diamond I posted about earlier, but it's an I color and I'm thinking I'll be happier with a G or above. Here are two stones I've got on hold with JA. ASETs and crown height information on its way from JA. In the meantime, is there anything worrying in the photos? I have to say I have no clue how to judge step cuts from photos. Tips, pointers, critiques welcome!

It will either be bezel set or set with some vintage baguettes/rounds I own in a style similar to this:

They are ones I would get ASET and CH for.
Beyond that cant say a lot.
I would also want a gemologist to look at the chip on the .61 and fill me in on it.

Thanks, Karl. I'll ask about the chip. It's kind of weird -- while searching for emerald-cuts over the past few weeks, I've seen a lot of lab reports with "chip" notations under clarity. Maybe trade-in stones that have been damaged?

could be.
They seem to be pretty picked through right now and a lot of jewelers wont buy them with a chip so a higher percentage than normal have chips.
