Damo, you might want to check why diameter is less than 6.5mm as it suppose to be for well cut 1ct diamond.

what could be the reasons for that then? .1 of a mm is not noticable no?

I assume the girdle is a bit thick. Yes, a 0.1mm difference is slightly noticeable.

With a stone like this you are paying a 1ctw price, but getting a stone that looks to the eye like a .90c or similar. So unless you are getting an amazing deal on it (e.g. .90c pricing or less)--I'd pass and keep looking. Or since you like the stone and how it looks so much, try to negotiate the price down. Where are the other specs like crown and pav angle etc?
