Opinions on this stone

Good evening everyone. This is my first post over here but I''ve been lurking a while. I''ve been looking at stones on line and off and finally have one worth getting expert feedback on. I have seen this stone in person at a local jeweler and I really like it. Unfortunately I only have other stones I''ve seen at mall jewelers, etc. to compare it to and I am hoping for feedback. Please be as honest as you like.

I am thinking of having it set in either a 3stone w 1/2moon sides similar to this jb starr (#2) or a solitaire in a setting similar j. allen (#1).


What do you think of the price on the stone? I have seen it in person and viewed with a loupe. I do not think the jeweler offers Sarin reports, etc.

I''m just a fellow shopper - no expert! - so I''m not sure about the diamonds stats (look good enough for me - yum!). I actually prefer the first setting, it similar to Daniel K''s split crown he does with Asschers .... I LOVES IT. The 2nd one with the half moons IMO takes away from the center stone, but i"m not a big fan of 3 stone rings in general .... It does look BLINGY though. Here''s how I''d describe it. #1 (ahhhh) #2 (wowza).
