Finally, I found this diamond on the James Allen website and also the setting I want. Can anyone with experience with a James Allen ring give me some feedback on the quality? Also, is this price reasonable?

Thanks in advance!

Numbers look good; is there a picture? Ideal Scope?

This diamond looks to be promising, have you checked that it is eyeclean to your standards? An Idealscope image would be useful, you can request one from JA.

James Allen is pretty well respected around here. I''ve never bought from them, but several PSers have. I think the reason we don''t push it as much as Whiteflash or Good Old Gold is that their upgrade policy is not as good (I think you need to buy a diamond that is twice the cost in order to upgrade). But with 1.86ct...who needs upgrading?

Is it a custom setting? Or just a stock setting from them? I haven''t seen any truly amazing custom work come from them (please correct me if someone has something fabulous!) but their stock settings seem to generally be pretty nice.
