Opinions on this ring?

I am considering this ring from Diamonds by Lauren. I feel the radiant cut gives the ring and antique and unique feel, which is what I'm looking for. Something different. It also seems that this stone may appear larger than it really is, because the face seems larger. What do you guys think?

It's a pretty ring and the faceting on the stone is interesting. My only thoughts are that it's a small stone and you won't see the faceting without magnification. I'm not sure I would see it as a vintage cut... A stone with chunkier facets and an open culet would give more of an antique feel, IMO.

One good tool is a mm ruler so you can draw the true-to-life size on a piece of paper, cut it out and put it on your finger. Also, try reducing the image on your computer to get a better idea of what it will look like in real life. It looks very sparkly!

I love this ring! There are several on his website I visit often.

Not an expert on radiants I just like them!

It looks like a very beautiful radiant in a well made setting. I think the stone faces up correctly for its size which is 5.55 x 4.67 x 3.16 mm. Given the halo setting, I think the total face up size might be nearly 7 x 6 mm and there are hand shots for size reference.
