Opinions on this Princess?

Hello Everyone...any comments are appreciated.

I''m looking for a Princess for an engagement ring. Was referred by a client to a dealer who he and his staff have used many times and were quite happy. He''s shown me a 1.18 princess, I SI2, "Good" Cut rating with a Gem Scan Certificate. (Not sure if this is a Canadian company). 5.60 x 5.47 x 4.49 dimensions. The inclusion is not visible in the table at all as it is aligned with one of the facets so it is not really apparent. Set in 19K gold band and all in for $4300 (CDN) including taxes which is substantial up here (14%) which I would pay at a retailer. My gf would sacrifice a little quality for a little more size but I''m thinking that it is sacrificing too much. It seems to me that the proportions are quite off (depth %?).

Any comments?

Just a "good" cut? I'd steer clear, unless you've seen it in many different lights and it performs beautifully. If not, I'd go smaller with a better cut. A smaller, top performing sparkler will look much better than a bigger dud.

*eta: On a princess cut, I'm not sure if they're awarded EX/EX too often. Perhaps someone who knows a princess cut better than I do can speak up about it.
