It looks beautiful to me, but I really only know a little bit about asschers. For an elongated asscher it looks great!

Is there a simple reason why this diamond is good even thought the table is >80% which puts it in the worse cat on the AGA table?

With EC's I pretty much ignore the numbers and go by images and eyeballs.
Thee l/w ratio and crown height are likely the most important numbers and l/w is a matter of what you like.
Crown heght over 10% is a good thing.
I havent studied EC's as much as Asschers so the numbers mean less to me with them.

Large tables do tend to give a glassy look which I like in EC's but not in Asschers.
But Iv seen kicken EC's both ways were a large table is a downgrade on an asscher.

wanted to add that a large table and shallow crown height is a no-go in an EC but a large table and crown height over 10% id consider.

It didn''t look like 80%, which tipped me off to look at the Sarin.
