Opinions on this diamond?? Need help reading the ASET

I just got a new emerald cut diamond today as well as my own handheld ASET scope.
What are your opinions on this diamond? I tried my best to take good pictures of the ASET with my iPhone but I don't know how to decipher it!

Any tips on finding a similar diamond that will give better light return? Online is my only option right now as I am in Hawaii and have not been impressed with what they have been made available to me.

Its to go in a Tacori 3 stone setting 2628ecp with cadillac cut side diamonds and pave on the band.
 
Yes. Shop at a vendor with pictures. And an ASET. Drop the acceptable clarity range down to VS1. You are being unnecessarily restrictive. I have a VS1 square emerald cut and I can't find my inclusion with a loupe. A 20x loupe at that (since that's what I have at home).
 
That sounds like a great idea! That is what my first emerald cut was, I will start looking for VS1 instead of IF!

My budget is around 5,200 with a LxW ratio of 1.4-1.5
I really appreciate your help and you setting me on the path to find the perfect EC
 
You have to ask for it. And they are actually having a lot of problems with their ASETs right now. So the video and the gemologist eval of the stones you pick are going to be what you rely on.

OK. Let me look to see what I find in your price range, if anything.
 
OK. So here are a couple choices with your requirements:

Both are going to be eyeclean (ask to make sure) so I wouldn't worry about clarity.

I am so excited! The EC I made this post about is very sparkly and pretty but I just can't imagine what one with not so much leakage will be like, I can't wait to find out!

No. Very thin is a problem.

Very thick is not ideal cause it will hold some weight at the girdle, but that's it. My own diamond has a very think girdle.

These three have potential.

I am usually vary wary of fancy cuts right at any carat mark because they are frequently poor performers cut to make the carat mark, sacrificing cut for the carat weight.

So I'm a bit wary of that 1.0 carat. And the way it's sitting on in the video isn't letting me tell if it's got issues or not.

But from the videos, the three above have potential.
 
Of those, even though the other one has more red (is it tilted in that image??), I think from the video and the ASET combined I agree with the gemologist.

Hello again Gypsy, I really hate to bother you but I need your help one last time!

Right before I was finalizing my purchase of the James Allen EC 30452, another jeweler offered me this 1.05 EC for 6k
They are taking an ASET image of it for me tomorrow but I have had the 30542 EC on hold for about a week and don’t want to lose it over a stone I might not like.
I’m jus wondering what you would do in my situation: Go with the one you know you like, or wait to see about another one?

They are offering me the 1.05 for 6k, they were hesitant at first to provide me with an ASET assuring me they only have the best cut diamonds and when I told them there was no way I would buy without one again, they ordered an ASET scope. The lady tried to tell me that ASETs are really gimmicky and she didn’t understand why it meant so much to me.

Please let me know your thoughts, is the 68% depth on my James Allen 30542 diamond anything to be concerned about?
