Opinions on this cushion? And dealing with ERD?

Mark from ERD is sending me pictures of this stone but what does everyone think of the specs so far?

Also - does working with Mark require a certain level of trust? He asked me if I was ok with just the cert or if I wanted a picture too! Is that normal? I feel like I''m insulting him by questioning the stone''s beauty...but its scary enough buying online, let alone w/o a picture....and he has a setting picked out for me but I have yet to see a picture!

Mark has an excellent reputation round here. I have yet to buy anything from him, but I wouldn''t hesitate. There are loads of threads started by thrilled customers.

I bought my ring from Mark, and it''s so awesome! I totally understand when you say you don''t want to insult him by questioning the beauty of the stone...since I felt like that too, but if you''re going to plop down so much money you should be able to ask for anything...pictures, etc. I thought Mark was great to work with and he''s really trustworthy! Do you know what setting you''re getting? He picked it out for you? I got the Sophia setting and it''s gorgeous!

You can't judge a cushion by the numbers, if Mark thinks this cushion is lovely, then I would trust his opinion, he is known as The Cushion King for good reason! Also you wouldn't be insulting him by asking for as much info/ pics as you need, I am sure he would be delighted to help you in anyway he can!

Well I am in love with the Heather...but it''s a little over our budget so he has a vendor that makes the same setting (or very similar) at a lower cost. Mark said he would send me a link to the vendors site so I could see the setting....

I just looked at the Sophia - GORGEOUS! Would love to see a pic!

And the heather is so pretty too! I think someone else on this forum just got that one...in the SMTR forum.

It is scary, but Mark has a great track record for cushions and he''s an absolute gem. Post the pictures, and if you can, post the cert so the folks here can have a looksee for you.

OOOOH! I Love it! And very sparkly! I have to wait until Monday for pics!

I hope it looks good...I am finally getting really excited over a diamond and setting after months and months of searching and changing my mind a million times!

KTDID just got the Marla, which is very similar to the Heather....I am going to search for it now though!

I bought a cushion from him...he is awesome. You won''t insult him by asking for pics...you should be comfortable with your purchase.

I haven''t seen recent pics from him, but when I bought from him, his pics weren''t the best, so maybe keep that in mind.
