An AGS1. For 4,000. At G S1. It's about a 6,000 stone to be conservative. So that's about a 1/3 off retail.
Hmm.
It's a 60/60.
The pavillion angle is the issue. 40.2 and 41.2 degrees is where you want to be with a 60/60 stone. And this one is 41.6
So look here:
Second to last is close to where this stone is going to be. Which is well... not that good. There's definitely leakage under the table. And a bit of 'ring of death'.
If your goal is a decent but not excellent stone at over a carat for $4000 then... it might be a contender.
It really depends on your goal.
If you are asking my opinion? I'd rather have the ideal cut H. It comes up upgrade and buy back policies. And that would allow me to trade up for a larger diamond without any loss later on. And I know that it is going to be an easy diamond to trade in because it's an AGS0.
Thank you for your feedback. I was more curious how the light performance would be as well as if it was a good value. I would rather have a better quality diamond, but questioned if it was worth the extra money to get an ags 0. It is very tempting and I may keep my eye on it and see if the price drops. I can see the ring in the photo and that bothers me. I'll have to do some thinking on this one. Thanks again.
