After mindless searching for the perfect stone (within budget
28.gif
) I have come across the following diamond. After looking at the specs I was curious if anyone might be able to shed some light on what I could expect to pay. Granted it is EGL cert, but I''ve personally looked at the stone and compared it to a GIA cert with similar marks and was pleased.

Round Brilliant
1.54ct
F in color
Clarity: SI2 (one barely visible black pinpoint that I didn''t pick up with a naked eye until I had louped it first)
7.32x7.28x4.56mm
Depth: 62.4%
Table: 58%
Crown: 15.2%
Pavilion: 42.8%
Crown Angle: 36.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.9
Girdle: MEDIUM TO SL. THICK FACETED
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Fluorescence: Med Blue
Culet: N/A

Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing your opinions!

Not sure what you would pay but I would be concerned with that ca/pa (36.5/40.9)combo and the depth is alittle deep. You could do a lot better.

Red seal - here is what that stone scored on the HCA https://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp
4.4 - good only if price is your main criterion.

I would look elsewhere.
Have you posted what specs you are after and your budget? Others will be happy to help you find a better performer..
