I can''t see the pictures...

perhaps changing the file format (from the current pdf into jpg, say) would help.

If you have both stones in your posession, I would suggest that you examine them in various lighting conditions and pick the one that looks best to you. It will be far more definitive than any comments on the images. They look very close.

Good luck

These are perfectly flawless and perfectly alike... in those pictures at least.

He he - that''s the problem, guys! They look exactly the same. In person and on paper. One is a little bit larger than the other, and the smaller one is currently mounted. So I''ve been walking around for days with a ring and a pair of tweezers with a loose stone ... my husband thinks I am nuts! :)

Does one speak to you more than the other??

I am laughing my soul out here !

Gee... that must be a funny thing to watch

What would it take to have the larger set into the ring ? Is it a good deal ? Is this an upgrade or what ?

If there isn''t much difference between the two (of size, cut, price... whatever) it must be taugh. What would make a serious difference for the better ?

There''s 0.15ct difference between the 2 stones, and yes, it is an upgrade. It seems the smaller stone "speaks to me" more (the arrows seem to want to be seen, whereas with the bigger one I feel like I have to work more to see them), but the "selfish brat" part of me wants the bigger one! :) Whichever stone I choose it will go into a new setting, as the current one does nothing for the stone...

I'd go with the smaller one that speaks to you more.....that's the most important part of a diamond.

Tell the brat in you to hush up, that .15 isn't much of a diff at all at that size range. Heck it's more of a diff on paper than in person. You're not giving up ANYTHING.

I agree with Aljdewey, if the smaller one speaks to you more go for it. .15 is not going to be noticeable at all.

These aren''t big stones - one is 0.59ct (5.45mm diameter), the other 0.74ct (5.85mm). I CAN see a size difference, I just don''t know if it is worth the money.

When does diameter difference become noticeable? I heard Mara say once that 0.5mm is HUGE..
