We are finally getting close....I think we have it narrowed down to a halo of some sort as far as setting goes. Either an OEC/transitional or RB stone. Everything I have learned about diamonds and from what I have seen. We will drop in color to get a larger stone, but will not make a sacrifice on cut.(unless we find a gorgeous transitional or OEC) In my search for a diamond online I have come back to this one time and time again. It just keeps popping up in my searches so often. I may have even asked GOG about it at one time but I can''t find a previous email in my outbox. I can''t say how far back it goes since I first saw this, but I know it''s been months...

Anyone care to give opinions on it? Can anyone tell me Why in the Gemex light return report does it look brownish? Is it due to the color? I know I will need to email to find out for certain how much warmth it gives off. Set in a halo ....side color will not be much of a factor.

That''s a very nice diamond laura. I''m not sure what''s causing the brownish color. It could just be lighting, or it may have something to do with the fact that it''s a lower color. Don''t put too much worry into it though. I would just ask Jon about it.

Ditto, or it could be the result of the photography / imaging, but as El says, Jon will soon be able to tell you!

Is color important to you? K is one of the colored stone...almost yellow. Would you sacrifice size to stay within the near colorless stones or does it matter? The brown is most likely coming from the color.

only a phone call to GOG will say for certain, but I have seen K stones face up white in RL. It all comes down to cut. This stone also has MB Floure which helps boost it to look white face up as well. I know it will show warmth from the side. That is pretty much a given.

Anyone else want to chime in on "K" color? I would say warmth yes, yellow no if we are talking excellent cut.

I have a large L colour and it faces up plenty white for me, so although you may see some warmth, especially from the side, a reliably graded and well cut K won''t look brown or yellow.
