Thanks, that's super helpful! I'm kind of thinking this last set is right too - do you think going smaller would take it into looking like the sides are part of the band vs. a 5 stone look?diamondseeker2006|1422927159|3826305 said:walkinfaith|1422926309|3826293 said:Thank you ds! I totally agree with you, and wonder if going smaller would help the proportions look like Erica's old ring or whether going smaller would make it look like the sidestones are part of the band as opposed to a 5 stone?diamondseeker2006|1422925812|3826285 said:I absolutely love the proportions of Erica's old ring, and I would go with the most recent set or smaller. I thought the other traps were too big for your stone and would blend right in with the center stone. I like it when the side stones are an accent rather than an extension of the center stone. I think the baguettes in the last set look good.
What size is your ring finger? Because I think Erica's stones are larger and the stones curve nicely around the top of her finger.
I'm a 4.5 and my stone is way smaller (1.5 vs. 3+ I believe), but I actually don't want the sides to add to the width of my finger to maximize the size of the center stone.
Oh yes, I like the proportions of Erica's as they are. I wasn't suggesting making your stones larger as I like the smaller sides. It's just that if you told me you wore a size 7 or something, I would tell you that your stones would not curve around the finger like hers and would not have the same finger coverage which would give you a very different look. BUT, now that I know you wear 4.5, you will be fine with your size stones! I think the last set may be about right.
