opinions on settings

I’ve decided to go with a 0.7 ct expert selection princess cut from WF with the flush fit setting. I was looking through the site for examples of the setting and I’ve seen two slightly different variations of the same ring. I prefer the first setting with less open space in the band. I’m going to check on Monday to see what setting it will be. I hope it will be the one I like.

What does everyone think of the settings?

I think that both settings are beautiful. The open detail on the side of the ring is a personal choice- I think either would be lovely!

Both are nice settings. Is there actually much of a difference? In the second setting it looks like the gap goes further down the side of the ring because of the sidestones.

Are there side stones on the first setting? The prongs in the first setting look a little bit more elegant to me because of the curve that it has. But I think I prefer having side stones in your case.
