opinions on scott kay

Scott Kay was one of the few brands I had actually heard of before PS. Yet, I don''t seem to see or read about too many people here having any Scott Kay pieces. What''s up with that? I was thinking of getting a Scott Kay wedding band. Is there something wrong with the quality?

I think a lot of people here prefer to buy unbranded because they get more bang for the buck.

I first encountered Scott Kay jewelry in Las Vegas at the Fashion Show Mall Bailey Banks & Biddle store in the mid 1990’s. At the time there was not another designer producing platinum settings. Recently a customer came in for an appraisal update on a Scott Kay piece that we had originally appraised at an L.A. store in 1998. It was in excellent condition. The S.K. customers that we have talked with over the years say that they are sold on the piece they bought and the service they received.

I have a Scott Kay set and I couldn''t be happier. Some Scott Kay vendors are willing to negotiate price with you, some not. They are extremely well made. No regrets here...
