Ok so I am close to pulling the trigger on a round. I want it to be a great stone and was looking at ones in the 1.05 to 1.07 range but they just werent as clear as I wanted and they scored high on the HCA. My budget is $6500 for the stone.
I found one on james allen with the following properties
Carat: 1.00
Color: H
Clarity: VVS2
Cut: JA (ideal) / GIA (only good?)
the measurements are the folloowing (6.4 x 6.34 x 3.8
D: 60.90
T: 60.00
C%: 13.50
P%: 42.50
Sym/Pol: Exc
HCA gives this ring a 1.5! thats pretty much better than most ive found. Does this sound like a good stone? Im also wondering about the GIA vs JA cut rating. GIA says only good and JA says IDEAL. I spoke with someone from JA and they said their grading is a little easier but its still within the ideal range whatever that means.
Anyways this ring is $5800 and I COULD spend more but it seems like a really sparkly one and I might just pull the trigger if you all approve
