opinions on princess cut diamonds please!

hello,

i'm trying to decide between two princess cut diamonds that JA helped me pick out. we narrowed it down to these two as face up clean and icy white. can anyone help me with second opinions please? it's for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. i'm including the links as well as the ASET images they provided.

what do you guys think? is one of the two a clear cut winner? or should i go back to the drawing board? they're only holding these diamonds for another 16 hours or so, so i'd really appreciate quick responses!

ASETs are very similar and quite good for both. I'd pick the first one because it's cheaper and faces up larger.

I believe that it is actually the more expensive one which faces up larger

1478916: 1.21ct F VS2, 5.74*5.65*4.23, very gd cut, $7710
1477777: 1.20ct F VS1, 5.82*5.76*4.21, ideal cut, $8350

^^^Just for easy reference.

I think the ASET's look very similar, they are nice and not a lot between them.

Are you decided on JA or would you like options from other vendors?

Thanks for the input so far. I'm not set on JA as long as I can find the best diamond I can within that price. Suggestions are welcome.

Based on your original choices I guess you are around:
1.15-1.25ct
<G color
<VS2 clarity
$8000 budget

But what matters to you most? Sparkliest stone you can fine, biggest one for the money?
