Hello all,
This is my first post, but have loved reading and learning about diamonds on this board.
I am looking to buy a pear diamond for a solitaire pendant for everyday wear. Specifically looking at classic teardrop shape, white and sparkly and minimal bowtie. Ratio of 1.55-1.6
I am considering 2 stones:
Diamond Pear 1
Carat Weight: 0.71ct
Color: F
Clarity: VVS1
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None
Culet: None
Lab Report: GIA
Width: 4.93mm
Length: 7.68mm
Depth: 2.80mm
Table Percentage: 65.70%
Depth Percentage: 57.60%
Diamond Pear 2
Carat Weight: 0.72ct
Color: F
Clarity: IF
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None
Culet: None
Lab Report: GIA
Width: 4.87mm
Length: 7.81mm
Depth: 3.27mm
Table Percentage: 57.00%
Depth Percentage: 67.10%
I think I prefer the shape of diamond 2 but feel that diamond 1 has better light return. Plus I am concerned that the table on diamond 1 may a little large?
Any thoughts?
