opinions on painting on IS image

Hi, I''ve been having trouble finding a half-carat stone with a good IS image in the $1000 to $1300 range. Most of what I''ve seen has iffy angle combos; painted girdles; and/or not eye clean.

I''m considering this .51 stone -- it has great symmetry according to the numbers (HCA 1.2). Here''s the IS. I''m pretty sure this IS does not show painting, but I''m still pretty new at this, so....opinions?

Its a great image, nothing to worry about IMO!

Actually it is very slightly dug out, but it is a very very nice stone with heaps of contrast.

there is some stuff on it i links in the Journal section - reviews on the top tool bar.
it is the opposite of painting - and we know it hapens when we see the smaler vees near the girdle are shorter than the bigger vees

The digging isn''t anything to worry about either.
