Opinions on my idea for my orig ER converted to necklace

Hi PSers,
I still haven't decided what to do with my original ER .I would like to make it into a necklace. I am too sentimental
to sell it. The main stone is a 2.35 Ct G Pear and the sides are also pears about .4 to .5 each. Not sure.
I have done a crude drawing of something I thought could be interesting. I would need to add 2 small princess stones set on the angle
and 2 small rounds.One to sit up above the small pears. With a simple platinum chain. What are your thoughts? Thanks!!!!

I guess I am a little more into simplicity so that a the necklace can be worn casually or for dressy occasions. These are my two favorite pear designs, and of course, with a pear the size of yours, the halos could be omitted.

What do think if I drop one princess? They would all just be prong set I think.

The necklace is going to be spectacular. I prefer the one with the dropped princess cut. I can't not wait to see the finished product.

I prefer simpler also. Drop the princess. And, I'm not fond of the round sticking straight up. If it were for me, I would cut
that also. Other than that I like the pears and the single round/princess then the pear.

I agree, drop a princess. I really would like just a round at the top and then a princess and then the pear.

I have another option as well but it doesn't use my small pears. I really love the look of this necklace. It could be without a pearl chain
and just be platinum one.

I personally absolutely love the design diamondseeker posted with the fancy yellow pear halo-d and then the small yellow RB and the kite shaped element on top. I would attempt to make something like that if I were you OP and if you also like it. I too agree, sometimes less is more and try to emphasize your large pear as much as you can. You can use that for the collier/necklace and perhaps use the two small pears for a moi e toi (sp? sorry it is late here and working) ring, I am making one right now with exactly the same sized pears. Alternatively, you can use the two smaller pears for drop earrings adding some tiny rounds/princess there. Best in my opinion would be to make a necklace like diamondseeker suggested and make matching earrings with the two smaller pears.

Personally I would keep it simple like diamondseeker as you won't wear it as frequently as you think . I have several pendants and the simply bezel set one is the one I go to the most often. My Halo pear only gets worn on fancy ocassions and I wish I could reset the pear wiith a pink melee halo just simple and pretty.
