Hey guys, first post here...however i have been reading all day and all night for the past few days to try and educate myself. I know a lot of you have probably heard enough about the Leo Diamond from Kay''s, and i know there are a lot of mixed feelings about it but my girlfriend has her heart set on it and she really seems to love it. I know there are comparable/better diamonds on the internet for cheaper and we are basically paying for a name, but she REALLY likes it. So now is where i need the help. We went into Kay''s to look at the 1 ct. princess cut Leo''s and that had one that they said they don''t usually have, these are all the spec''s i got from it:

Near Colorless (H)
.96 ct. weight
5.36 - 5.08 x 4.08
V Good / Good Polish/Symm.
That''s about all i have for now, but not knowing much about diamond''s and numbers (dept, table, etc?) i need your help. I know a lot of the Leo''s are different, some real nice, and some not so much. However after the sales person convinced us that a VS 2 usually does not come in, and they usually just get SI''s we decided to put it on layaway. The best part about this is the worst that happens is we decide we don''t want it and they give us all our money back. But like i said, she tried it on as well as a bunch of other diamonds from different places and she fell in love . I need your help though, the retail price on these diamonds is around $6500? Am i getting a deal or taken advantage of?
