Just wondering if you could give me some opinions on the following stone. I've taken everyones advice to learn more but there is way too much info around...especially on this site!

It sounds good to me, have you seen it in person? Your eyes are the best judge of what will make you happy!

Thanks for the quick replies.

I''ve seen the stone (which is actually set already) and it looks great...but most stones look great to me! Guess with all the talk about cut and different grading standards I was curious if the cut is ''excellent'' as it says.

Also, is it worth going to a D or E color and dropping to very good for polish and/or symmetry if the price was the same.

Thanks again.

If it were me I wouldn''t have a problem with very good polish or symmetry, but I don''t think you need to go up to D or E in color either. F is still considered a colorless diamond and most people can''t tell the difference. I would just try to look at as many diamonds as you can to help you decide what you like.

i''ll see your ''f'' sundial and raise it to a ''g''.

most people would never ever never spot the difference between a well cut e/f/g stone. especially when set.

as far as polish/symmetry go, high polish/symmetry are synonymous with good craftmanship.
