I thought the back was intriguing, is this a generic swarovski princess diana piece or should I drop the 15 dollars they're asking for it in the back of the thrift shop shelf

If you love it and will wear it, buy it. I've spent more on fashion and sterling jewelry I love.

(fyi-this forum is supposed to be for natural gemstones. You can ask a mod to move it to Fabulous Fashion Jewelry where pieces like this are discussed).

This appears to be a single earring (I can see the leverback) but large enough to work on its own as a pendant. It appears to be made by hand to high standards (ex: good prong work) and was probably made in India or China where there was a low cost for skilled labor.

Yes I'd probably get it, unless the $15 is a big deal. Looks kind of purple from the back which would make me guess at tanzanite or synthetic. Still pretty, and would make a nice pendant.

My first thought was also Tanzanite. Does the side view look more purple than the front view?
