Opinions needed

Hi ladies!

I'm new to the bridal thread since I just recently became engaged (one week ago!)

So I've decided what kind of flowers I would want for my wedding which is set for October 1, 2011.

Orchids!


Which do you like best for the flowers?

For the cake, instead of having a purple ribbon go around the perimeter of each tier, I would want a thin thread of crystals.

For the first set of flowers, I don't think I would have anything dangling or any greens mixed in.

Why can't you have them all? LOL. The Cymbidiums are going to be the most cost effective. But I think having all three types thrown in would be lovely.

as for the flowers, i'm drooling over that second bouquet you posted. i mean, droooollllinnnngggg. and the cake looks/sounds like it will be wonderful too!

Welcome Autumn! Congrats on getting things rolling. I think it depends what look you are going for. The first look very tropical island to me, where as the rest have a bit more elegance in a refined way to them. I too love that bouquet in the second pic and think the bottom three would all blend well together.

The cake is gorgeous -- I like your idea of crystals.

My favorite bouquet is the first one (without the greens). I've always loved the flowing look of bouquets like this.
