Opinions needed on this diamond- Making a switch to 1 color down and save money

Hi,
I was very close in getting a J color VS2 triple 0 from Brian Gavin, but I''m able to save $1600 and get a K color VS2 triple 0. Can you guys give me input based on these pictures and specs?

It looks great! You might notice some warmth from the side and maybe a little face up with a K colour, is that ok with you?

It does indeed look great. However, at this size, it may show some slight warmth. Will the intended wearer have a problem with this?

I suspect that a J and K will look the same at these sizes, both will appear warm, so the issue of your intendend''s attitude towards warm diamonds holds for both stones. Sometimes Ks can be noticably more tinted than Js because the K color grade can be broader than J (hence there can be high and low Ks), but Brian should be able to tell you if this is the case with these two diamonds. Perhaps he can send you photos of both as well to compare?

I talked to Brian about this diamond versus the J that he had. Himself and ex coworker couldn''t tell the difference with diamond face up. My gf is very new to diamond and would rather have larger size diamond than better color.

To me, how many times do you take your diamond and compare with others with the colorless or near-colorless group. It''s very rare. I hope with the cut, mounting on white gold band. Everything will look great. It''s coming in the morning tomorrow, so I''ll see how it will shine!
