Opinions Before I Purchase Eternity Band Please!

I'm about to order my new eternity band but would like some final thoughts on the stone size. I'm planning on 10-pointers (pictured at bottom). I know many people like to keep wedding bands very minimalistic for a three-stone rings but I like a little bit of a more substantial band. I like the 10s but wonder if maybe I should go down a hair to 9-pointers. The smallest size I would really want to go would be 8-pointers.

What do you think of the stone size in the band pictured below (my ring would be full eternity). Do the 10-pointers work with my engagement ring? I highly doubt an upgrade is in my future even with IDJ's great policy becuase my husband prefers me to be happy with what I have . I can see myself wanting to wear the eternity ring alone down the line and the 10-pointes would be the most substantial size I think I could manage before I completely overpower my Ering.

Please help - I'm so indecisive and just want to decide and make the purchase! Thank you.

I personally like the look of the .10 pointers with your e-ring. I also wear a 3-stone with an eternity band and love the blingy look. I would recommend wearing a spacer between the rings to eliminate any damage. As well, the spacer will give some separation and definition to your e-ring. I say, go for it.

Go for the .10's. That size looks well proportioned to your ering but does not overwhelm it. It compliments but does not compete.
And that size will be suitable as a stand alone ring for the times you don't have your 3 stone on. I have .12's in my 1/2 eternity and I'm quite satisfied with it as a stand alone ... and I'm pretty keen on it with my ering, too! (mine came from IDJ as well and I dealt w Luann)

Agree with the spacer Farleysmom suggested. A thin .75 or 1mm would be discreet and save your ering from damage.

Honestly? I think they're all WAY too big. The e-ring gets swallowed and it kind of looks like the stones in the ering are smaller than they really are. I was thinking 3pts might be good. MAYBE 5pts.

I love the .10s! I used to have a 10 pointer eternity from IDJ and it made a beautiful stand alone ring too.

Thank you all for your feedback! I just pulled the trigger and ordered the band in 10-pointers from IDJ. They said it should be ready in about two weeks (I'll post pics when I have it). Hopefully it will look beautiful
