I am working on designing this pendant for a wedding day gift. I would like a near replica of the pendant shown below (which is a CZ piece).
I will be using approx 4.20mm x 4.20mm princess cut stone (G, VS2-SI1) in the center.
Is that considered a pave border? Or simply channel set melee stones? Is there a difference? Please offer suggestions for bordering the stone (points/carats). Is it a good idea to border the stone in such a way to make it look larger? The reason I chose this design is because of her ring (also pictured below).
I have contacted whiteflash about this project and have yet to receive a response or estimate.
