New to the site, thanks in advance. Can I get your expert opinion on this asscher diamond?

Hi jason,

I'm not an Asscher expert, strm is, but I'll give you a bump and put a bug in his ear for ya.

I know he will want all the specs on it (including crown height, depth, table, etc.) if you have them. If not, try to get them.

Can we get the table size, depth and crown height?
Also a regular picture?

Interesting colors in the ASET the question becomes is the light bluish green partial obstruction or just the way the picture was taken.
A regular picture will help tell what is going on.

specs:
GIA
6.35 x 6.31 x 4.41
Table 64%
Depth 69.4%
thick-very thick

I think strmrdr will need crown height, can the vendor get you one?

storm always wants the crown height for these diamonds, if you could ask the vendor for this Jason that would be most helpful.

Scaled down just a tad.

It would be best if the seller could take a pic straight on (without the stone being on point), in natural lighting.

Crown height 15.7%
Crown angle 28.7

interesting.

I am just a layman so not an expert for any diamonds. But this diamond looks so gorgeously icey to me.

Any thoughts?

I don''t like it. Why does the middle have two large dark areas?

I think strm has been busy, but again, a regular picture is really needed. It's hard to say with it at this angle, and in whatever lighting this is. Diamonds, and Asschers in particular, need to be seen in real lighting, which this isn't. As strm said earler, a regular picture will help tell what is going on.

Here, this is what we mean.

All the pictures he sent had black background... sorry

Any help would be grateful...

Still need actual photos in normal, natural lighting. The dark background is fine, the problem is trying to look at the diamond with whatever blue light source or filter is illuminating it. If the vendor could supply those, someone like strm would be able to comment further.
