Opinion on these 2 oval diamonds, please!

Can I get your guy's opinion on 2 diamonds from JA? I wanted to see if they were any good from your guy's standpoint.

Which did the gemologist say they prefer. Both are acceptable for ovals.

Have you looked to GOG and talked to them?

Hi Gypsy,

Their gemologist preferred the first one over the second but said they were both good.

"Both have an excellent amount of brilliance (white light return), fire (dispersion of color) and sparkle that is well balanced and symmetrical. The "J" diamond is white face up; with some visible spots of yellow. The "I" color diamond is a nice white color and both diamonds are completely "eye clean"."

I have talked to GOG, but they're on a break due to the diamond industry taking a 2wk vacation this time of the year, so JA picked these 2 out for me when I gave them my specs

Also. Aset shows light return but
Doesnt completely show faceting pattern.

What is your budget?

If you have one more ASET at JA I think maybe you should get an ASET of this:

Of the two you posted I much prefer the I and is a nice stone. But I wouldn't have picked the J for an ASET in the first place. So I'm not surprised it was not recommended.

Then ASET the gemologist which he prefers. The 2.01 I just posted, or the 2.0 I that was initially sent for ASET .
