Hi All,

I have a princess cut i''m looking to purchase. Below are the specs I have thus far. Whiteflash is going to be inspecting the diamond and providing Sarin reports plus images. What do you think of the diamond as a preliminary check? Thanks!

Princess
Cut: Very Good
Measurements: 5.92 x 5.82 x 4.31 mm
Ct Weight: 1.22
Color: F
Clarity: VVS2
Depth %: 74.1%
Table %: 66%
Girdle: Medium to Slightly Thick
Cutlet: None
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Flouresence: None

Thank you.

Welcome!

Unfortunately we can''t tell by numbers, images and photos are what we need to be able to help. It looks as if it is worth consideration by the little info we have, but who graded this diamond Very Good? These descriptions aren''t a guarantee of a well cut diamond, but you are in excellent hands with WF, who will do all the necessary analysis and give you an expert opinion on this diamond.

I should have all images and more numbers Monday so i''ll post back then.. Grading is GIA.

Thanks

You are welcome! Post the images when you have them and any additional info - plus Whiteflash's verdict, then we can go from there - WF won't steer you wrong.

I think you''ve found yourself a WINNER! The IS and ASET look great. The only I would think of doing is going lower in color and clarity. But if this diamond is in your budget, it looks great. I have a VVS2 for this reason...it was a few grades higher than what I needed, but the diamond fit the budget and looks great.

This diamond looks beautiful!!! You could certainly drop the clarity a tad if you wished, but this is a personal preference and I really like the look of the picture!

Ditto :) Looks lovely to me :D

Thanks all!.. The diamond falls into my budget without a problem so i''m happy with the F VVS2. I would actually have like a D color instead. I surely do hope this diamond is a great one (as it looks good to me!)...

Now the tough part is to find the setting she likes.. she likes a couple from Jeff Cooper and wants a higher setting cathedral type. Any suggestions? With or without sidestones.

Thanks!
