first off that is a computer program generated image not an image that was taken of a diamond.
I haven't seen one generated image that comes close to the actual photo.
The generated ones usualy look worse.
I would not call those white dots "light loss" - they are part of the usual pattern observed on the best round cuts. To produce a full red picture up to the girdle, the minor facets of the crown would have to receive special treatment (a sercah on "tweaked" ) would give you more details than you might wish for on this. And yes, a generated image would greately exaggerate the resolution of the optical signature one can observe on the actual stone. So, these models make things look worse, not better.
the image is of a stone with very good proportions, but is not from a real scanand the DiamCalc settings can be set higher for more reality. But the stone is sure to be nice
