Hi, just wondering if this is a bad setting to go with a wedding band? I saw on the forums some settings don't go well together with the band. Is this one of them?

Thanks

Some women prefer an engagement ring that allows a wedding band to sit "flush" next to it - that is, that the e-ring and wedding ring sort of fit next to each other without a sizeable gap. A wedding ring would sit flush next to this ring, so in that sense it would fit well with a wedding ring. (The small gaps created where the shank tapers towards the head don't count for this discussion. ;)) )

EDIT - ON SECOND THOUGHT... I took a look at the "rotate" option and realized that the prongs on this ring could interfere with a traditional flush fit, particularly with larger stones. If a flush fit is important to you, you might want to ask the sales associate whether this ring style combined when used with the diamond you've selected will allow for a flush fit. If not, you might want to consider a wedding ring with a slight contour, or another setting.

The diamond size should be around 1.3 round. Actually I was concerned whether the setting and wedding band would scratch each other

Get the same metal for both. Should be okay. But there will be a gap.
