Item Code: 17781457

I am having this diamond brought in next week to view. I wanted to see what the group thinks on price and quality. I am also uploading some photo shopped ring images. I plan on having a custom white gold ring made for it.

Any comments are welcome,

Stephen

Hi Porsche

Not much we can tell you about the Asscher until WF have done the analysis on the diamond, once they have post everything here - we will need the,

ASET image
Photograph
Idealscope image
Lab report
Sarin scan

Then we can go from there.

The ring setting is unusual, I rather like it!

Attaching pics now.

Seems to have a large "L" shaped area of leakage under the table. I think I would pass.

Is that the cut that causes this?

Could be obstruction and or angles are off, hold on and lets get Karl to look at this one.

Yes, please more opinions! If its going to be this difficult finding a quality Asscher I''ll probably have two more stones brought in instead of one more. I''ll probably drop in a little in size and hopefully bring in some quality ~ 1.2 ct stones. Is there a rating that I can see that might help avoid this type of issue? Or do I just have to pay to bring in stones to have them photographed?

Thanks,

Stephen

see if they can call first and get an opinion before calling them in.
This one has some center brightness issues in the is and aset.

keep the table under 65 depth under 70 and a reasonable l/w ratio.
Otherwise you have to roll the dice a bit.

Here are the other two I am thinking of bringing in.

Right, but its not free.

I might be wrong, but I was under the impression that they will provides the ASET, IS images for free

I will ask on Monday or if someone else knows they can chime in. I think it depends on if the source they are getting them from actually has them. They charge to fly stones in.
